Description

The presence of this block in the Simulink® Model indicates that an ASAM ASAP2 file will be generated. This block provides some options which will used by the ASAP2 generator. More than one of these blocks can exist in the Model and, if this is the case, more than one ASAP2 file will be generated.

Block Parameters

Parameter Field	Values	Comments/Description
A2L Filename (with path)	String	The location where the A2L file should be generated.
Protocol Instance Name (more than 1 allowed)	String or Cell Array of String	Indicate the instances which should be described in the IF_DATA section of the A2L file.
Describe XCP with XCPplus	Checkbox	This checkbox applies to the XCP protocol. When checked, the XCPplus IF_DATA description format will be used (availability begins in XCP version 1.1) If not checked, the legacy description format will be used.
XCP Security DLL (without path)	String	Provide the name of an appropriate security DLL for the SEED_AND_KEY_EXTERNAL_FUNCTION A2L field.
