MotoHawk Boost Power Supply Definition
This block defines Boost Power Supply behavior
Block ID
Boost Power Supply Definition
Library
MotoHawk_lib/ModuleConfiguration
Description
This block allows controlling of the boost supply circuit.
Block Parameters
Parameter Field | Values | Comments/Description |
---|---|---|
Name | Alpha-numeric text, single-quote enclosed | The Name must be unique across the model |
Resource | Drop down list | The list of Boost resources that are supported by the target. |
Show Charge Rate | Checkbox | When supported and selected, this option allows an input port to control supply boost (charge pump) drive strength. Lower strength settings can help minimise peak current draw on the input power supply in situations where the boost supply is lightly loaded. The default when unselected will be to use the highest strength. |
Signals
Enable
This boolean input enables or disables the Boost logic. 0(false) disables and 1(true) enables the boost circuit.
Boost Voltage Value
This scalar real32 input port sets the boost supply output voltage setpoint.
Boost Charge Rate
This scalar uint8 input port sets the boost supply charge rate. A value of 2 (high) will set the boost supply to use the most aggressive charge rate (i.e. the highest current demand on the input power supply), a value of 1 (medium) will deliver approximately two thirds of the highest strength, and a value of 0 (low) will be approximately one third of the highest strength.
Actual Boost Voltage
This scalar real32 output port reports the measured boost output voltage.
Actual Battery Voltage
This scalar real32 output port reports the measured boost input voltage.
