Description

 

Use this block to configure the Input Capture behavior, along with the other Input Capture blocks.

Block Parameters

Parameter Field	Values	Comments/Description
Name	Alpha-numeric text, single-quote enclosed	Name for this resource, must be a unique name. It is used by the trigger blocks and Input access blocks to associate with this definition. No special characters, such as spaces, dashes, commas (underscore allowed).
Resource	Drop-down list	Select input resource (options shown for the module currently selected in the Target Definition block). Note that the CAM input on MPC5xx modules can't be used if an Encoder Definition block exists in the model.
Trigger Mode	None, Rising Edge, Falling Edge, Both  Edges	Select appropriate edge of signal to trigger on.
Synchronous Edge Detect	Rising Edge, Falling Edge	Select appropriate edge of signal to start measurement.
Signal Interface	Digital Input/VR Signal	Select type of input signal being captured.
