Peak/Hold Channel Definition

This MotoHawk™ block allows a Peak/Hold behavior to be assigned to a reaction channel. Assignment is achieved by selecting an instance of a Peak/Hold controller. A controller can be used by more than one channel and thus the same controller definition could be used to define how all the injectors on a module operate. Refer to the controller help for details on how this style of reaction control operates.

Description

Block Parameters

Parameter Field Values Comments/Description
Name Alpha-numeric text, single-quote enclosed This name will be used by associated blocks like the Reaction Channel Status block to reference this channel definition. No special characters, such as spaces, dashes and commas (underscore allowed)
Resource Drop-down list Module resource for this block (target module dependent).
Reference Controller Name Alpha-numeric text, single-quote enclosed The name of the controller that defines the control that will be adopted by this channel.
Load Impedance Type Drop-down list Defines whether a Low Impedance or High Impedance load is connected to this channel. The type of load influences how channel diagnosis is performed.
Load Impedance Calibration Name Alpha-numeric text, single-quote enclosed References a data store that defines whether a Low Impedance (when value is zero) or High Impedance (when value is non-zero) is connected to this channel. For example a boolean calibration could be referenced to allow the load type to be calibrated. The data store is only queried by the controller during key-up (power on).

Only visible when Load Impedance Type indicates Calibrated type.
Use Peak/Hold With Off Time controller Checkbox Indicates that the referenced Controller will use the Peak/Hold With Off Time (PHWOT) style of control. The prompt will indicate Unsupported if the hardware associated with this reaction channel Resource is unable to support this style of control. The selection will be greyed out if Unsupported and not checked to prevent selection.
Use Peak/Hold With Dual Threshold controller Checkbox Indicates that the referenced Controller will use the Peak/Hold With Dual Threshold (PHWDT) style of control. The prompt will indicate Unsupported if the hardware associated with this reaction channel Resource is unable to support this style of control. The selection will be greyed out if Unsupported and not checked to prevent selection.
