This MotoHawk™ block returns the Average RPM with a data type of uint16. The value is calculated based upon the time taken to traverse adjacent RPM sample points. The Flexible Encoder allows the RPM Sample points to be specified. The RPM Sample points are set to the values for top-dead-center(TDC) if the encoder is not of the flexible encoder type. The RPM may not be accurate until encoder synchronization has been achieved and may read as zero.
