Description

This MotoHawk™ block is part of the Cryptography Blockset and allows the contents of a key referenced in the associated Crypto Key Definition to be updated and stored. The data is transferred to the key store in plain form, without encryption, authentication, etc.

Input Ports

Key[] (uint8)

An array of data to saved into the key storage. Note that the dimension of the array is determined by the key type.

Output Ports

Status (boolean)

Indicate whether the store operation succeeded: true if the key was saved successfully; otherwise false.

Failure may occur for several reasons:

• the key store is locked against further modification (see Crypto Key Lock),
• saving the key data requires encryption, authentication, or similar prerequisites,
• the storage mechanism fails to verify the key data after it is written.
