MotoHawk and MotoTools (MotoTune and MotoService) are licensed via a silver USB token (dongle). The token must be placed in the USB port of the computer in order to use the software.

 The silver USB tokens that license MotoHawk and MotoTools are manufactured by a company called [https://www.marx.com/en Marx].  As Woodward has updated to using the latest version of Marx's operating system, dongles already in use that purchase the ability to use MotoHawk version 2014b service pack 2 and later will likely need to update the operating system that exists on their dongle.  If an update to the dongle is needed, it will require shipping the token back to Woodward for the update.  Please follow the below steps in order to check the operating system on your silver USB token.
