Description

This block defines a Current Profile to be used by Mux Group Definition block as a reference.

Profiles are enumerated in the system. The Define Enumeration Order option will allow the application to control the order of enumeration via an order value. Enumeration is from lowest to highest.

Xml definition file system path can be defined using an Additional Profile Path block . If not defined default path will be '../../../CurrentProfiles' or '../CurrentProfiles'.

Calibration feature allows some of the Profile parameters to be calibratable. The following parameters can be controlled by calibration: TimeDmd, CurrentDmd, CurrentHysteresis

Block Parameters

Parameter Field Values Comments/Description
Name Alpha-numeric text, single-quote enclosed The Name must be unique and will be used by Current Drive Mux Group Defintion block to reference this definition.
Profile Name Alpha-numeric text, single-quote enclosed Profile Name describes the name that exists within the XML definition of the current profile that this block represents.
Define Enumeration Order Checkbox Check to allow the application to control the order that Profiles are enumerated by the system. This can be useful when using calibration tools that deal directly with the value rather than the enumeration. Controlling the enumeration order for all Profiles in the model will ensure that the same value is always associated to the same sensor
Order numeric This value controls how Profiles are enumerated. A low value will enumerate before another Profile that has a higher value. Those Profile that have not checked the Define Enumeration Order will be considered before those Profiles that do have Define Enumeration Order checked
Allow profile to be calibrated Checkbox Allows some of the Profile parameters to be calibrated.
Read Access Level 0-8 Sets security level 0 lowest, 8 highest, for user access to read value
Write Access Level 0-8 Sets security level 0 lowest, 8 highest, for user access to write value
Instrumentation Group Alpha-numeric text, single-quote enclosed Determines Folder name and hierarchy to be used by an Instrumentation Tool. Use "|" character between folder names to delineate subfolder structure.
