Detect Open Load While Asserted Configuration

Use this MotoHawk™ block to enable or disable the open load detection diagnostic that runs while the output is asserted. Only resources whose hardware allows such configuration will be available for configuration.

Block ID

Open Load While Asserted Configuration

Library

MotoHawk_lib/Module Configuration Blocks

Description

Some output drivers have the capability to detect an open circuit condition even while the drive is asserted. This detection is typically seperate to the detection of an open circuit while the drive is not asserted. Such detection often places requirements on the load that must be met before the diagnostic will operate reliably. This block allows the application to define whether this diagnostic should be used. The resource list will only be populated with outputs that support this configuration

Block Parameters

Discrete Output Parameters

Parameter Field Values Comments/Description
Name Alpha-numeric text, single-quote enclosed Provide the block name for reference. No special characters, such as spaces, dashes, commas (underscore allowed).
Default Condition* Drop down The open load diagnostic condition to be applied. A disabled diagnostic won't trip an open circuit fault.
Resource Listed Pin designations per target module Assign the associated module output pin.
Allow attributes marked with a * to be calibrated. Calibration applied at KeyOn Check box (enable) Name, Access Levels and Group Strings fields available.
Read Access Level 0-8 Sets security lever 1 lowest, 8 highest, for user access to read value. A setting of zero indicates unsecured access is allowed.
Write Access Level 0-8 Sets security lever 1 lowest, 8 highest, for user access to write value. A setting of zero indicates unsecured access is allowed.
Group String Alpha-numeric text Determines folder name and hierarchy as displayed. Use "|" character between folder names to delineate subfolder structure.
