Description
Use this MotoHawk™ block to control the operating mode of the VISTA's Noise Detection Window (NDW). The noise window is synonymous with the knock reference window.
The VISTA IC is capable of operating using just the Knock Detection Window (KDW). Such a configuration is typically used when hardware resources prevent support of separate Knock and Noise detection windows. MotoHawk™ modules that use the VISTA IC are not so limited. Therefore the appropriate setting for this block is either 9, when the Noise Detection Window (NDW) occurs before the Knock Detection Window (KDW), or 10, when when the Noise Detection Window (NDW) occurs after the Knock Detection Window (KDW).
Valid input values for this block are:
0: Single Knock window - Should not use
1: Internal window - Rising PIP edge, width 1/4 KDW - Should not need use
2: Internal window - Rising PIP edge, width 1/2 KDW - Should not need use
3: Internal window - Falling KDW edge, width 1/4 KDW - Should not need use
4: Internal window - Falling KDW edge, width 1/2 KDW - Should not need use
5: External window - NDW before KDW, width 1/4 KDW - Should not need use
6: External window - NDW before KDW, width 1/2 KDW - Should not need use
7: External window - NDW after KDW, width 1/4 KDW - Should not need use
8: External window - NDW after KDW, width 1/2 KDW - Should not need use
9: External window - NDW before KDW, duration of NDW
10: External window - NDW after KDW, duration of NDW
The script "motohawk_knock_nwm_mode_enum" returns a cell array with this complete enumeration.
