MotoHawk Wiki is a community website for Woodward Employees and customers to disperse information about MotoHawk, Woodward. (So, what is a Wiki??)

Your Rapid Controls Development Software


MotoHawk® is a rapid controls system development tool that allows controls engineers to quickly create controls software within Simulink® diagrams, which run on any MotoHawk-enabled electronic control modules. Successfully used in thousands of production applications, MotoHawk supports control feature development, vehicle calibration, and fleet testing. It allows a variety of applications using both single controller and distributed by-wire implementations.

MotoTune

Woodward's MotoTune® calibration development tool provides all of the functionality needed for typical day-to-day calibration tasks. An intuitive, spreadsheet-like user interface provides easy access to all of the calibration-related RAM and ROM parameters contained in the electronic control unit (ECU).

Woodward MotoService consists of MotoViewer for display and diagnostics as well as MotoUpdate for field flashing of electronic control units.

MotoFlash is an ECM Production Programming tool. The MotoFlash production system provides a complete solution for Electronic Control Module programming.

Toolkit

Toolkit is a Woodward Windows based software program used to create standard or custom HMI (Human Machine Interface) software programs for use with Woodward products. The created HMI programs can be used as graphical engineering workstations, configuration tools, or operator control panels for users to directly interface with Woodward products.

Third Party Tools

Calibration of Woodward MotoHawk enabled electronic control units is also possible via Third Party Tools by CCP, or for newer modules by XCP.

The ISO15765/UDS blockset is also available for purchase to enable service tool connection over ISO15765/UDS.

Blocksets for additional protocols such as J1939 and CANOpen are in development.
