Description
Overview
This MotoHawk™ block returns the sampled values in SI units of a list of ADC Queue Elements sampled by an ADC Queue
Triggering Scheme Coherency
Synchronised PWM
The data from all of the ADC Queues within a Synchronized PWM ADC Queue Group is buffered such that the ADC Queue Element data is coherent upon sampling completion of the last ADC Queue Element in the last ADC Queue. At this point the ADC Complete Trigger trigger executes if configured.
Output Ports
Element (units, real32)
Result of the sample transformed into SI units. The units shown on the port depends on the ADC resource configured by the ADC Queue Element.
The number of output ports depends on the number of ADC Queue Element Names listed in the Mask configuration.
Operation
- The referenced ADC Queue Elements must all be included in the referenced ADC Queue.
- The ADC Queue Element units are defined by the ADC resource. Therefore different ADC resources may have different uints. This will be reflected on the output port.
- This block will highlight when a referenced ADC Queue Element Definition has changed. This requires user intervention to open the Mask dialog and accept those changes
Block Parameters
Parameter Field | Values | Comments/Description |
---|---|---|
ADC Queue Definition Reference Name | Single quote enclosed alpha-numeric text | The name of the ADC Queue that defines the list of available ADC Queue Elements. |
ADC Queue Element Definition Reference Name(s) | Cell array of Single quote enclosed alpha-numeric text | Cell array list of one or more ADC Queue Elements listed in the referenced ADC Queue. The results of each element sample will be exposed on a separate output ports. |
Warn on ADC Queue Element Resource Changed | Check box | When checked, the block will highlight when one of the referenced elements ADC Resource has changed. This is considered a warning if the output units remain unchanged. The Highlight can be removed by opening the mask dialog and selecting the check box "Accept 'ADC Queue Element Definition' Block Resource and Unit Changes" |
Discrepancy information | Information on Errors and Warnings | When any of the referenced ADC Queue Elements ADC Resource or units have changed, the differences are shown in this informational field. Warnings are only shown if the above checkbox "Warn on ADC Queue Element Resource Changed" is checked. Changes in units are considered an error always requiring manual acceptance by checking "Accept 'ADC Queue Element Definition' Block Resource and Unit Changes" |
Accept 'ADC Queue Element Definition' Block Resource and Unit Changes | Check Box | This check box is shown if any of the referenced elements ADC Resource has changed and "Warn on ADC Queue Element Resource Changed" is checked and/or any of the referenced elements units have changed. When the user selects "Accept 'ADC Queue Element Definition' Block Resource and Unit Changes" and presses OK or Apply, the changes are accepted and applied to the output ports. The highlighting is then removed. |
