Checking the Operating System On a Silver USB token

The silver USB tokens that license MotoHawk and MotoTools are manufactured by a company called Marx. As Woodward has updated to using the latest version of Marx's operating system, dongles already in use that purchase the ability to use MotoHawk version 2014b service pack 2 and later will likely need to update the operating system that exists on their dongle. If an update to the dongle is needed, it will require shipping the token back to Woodward for the update. Please follow the below steps in order to check the operating system on your silver USB token.

1. Ensure that your silver USB token is inserted into a USB slot on the computer you are using.
2. Download Marx diagnostic tool, called Marx Analyzer here. Click on the tab labeled Driver and Diagnostic Tools.
3. Unzip and run the MarxAnalyzer.exe
4. After it initializes, click Start Diagnostics
5. When diagnostics are complete, click on the MARX Hardware tab. If Format states MPI, the dongle needs to be updated.
