My license information is now Unlicensed

First, try closing your MotoHawk or MotoTune program, moving the dongle to another USB port, and then re-opening the program.

Try correcting the issue by starting License Update and canceling a transaction. Why does this fix the issue? The signature in the token my become corrupted or a user may have started a transaction and never finished it

There is a known issue with the dongle and USB3.0. Make sure the dongle is plugged into a USB 2.0 port. For more information, see the wiki article on USB3.0.

When I build in MotoHawk, I get a build error for license failure

Run the script motohawk_check_license at the Matlab command prompt.

>>motohawk_check_license

this will return a 1 if a license is detected, and a 0 if not.

Use the Motohawk License Viewer to verify that your dongle is licensed for the version of MotoHawk you are using.

Follow the above steps for 'My license information is now Unlicensed'
