Block Parameters

Parameter Field Values Comments/Description
Name Alpha-numeric text, single-quote enclosed Specifies which CAN channel to monitor. This name must exactly match the name specified in the MotoHawk CAN Definition block.
Show Bus Passive Error Port Check Box (enable) Bus Passive is true when the bus is disconnected, shorted, improperly terminated, the baud rate is incorrect, or if bit error rates are high enough to cause hardware failures.
Show Tx Error Counts Port Check Box (enable) "Tx Error Counts" is 0 when the bus is operating properly and increments every time the module is unable to transmit CAN messages. This is usually caused by conflicting message IDs.
Show Rx Error Counts Port Check Box (enable) "Rx Error Counts" is 0 when the bus is operating properly and increments every time the module is unable to receive CAN messages.
