Reference:Upgrading Kvaser firmware

There is an upgrade guide for using a utility (Release_MotoKVASERFirmwareUpdate_3_3_650.zip) to upgrade your Kvaser firmware.

It is known that the Kvaser CANLIB library (framework library for the pc to interact with Kvaser CAN Hardware) will silently fail if there is a mismatch between the firmware and the drivers on the PC. Randomly the library will fail to send CAN traffic from PC software applications, such as MotoTune and ControlCoreServer, while informing the application that everything is proceeding as normal (sucessful transmissions).
