Here are some editing shortcuts, for Simulink:

# Right-click and drag a block to another location to create an exact copy of that block and its containing subsystem.
# Middle click (or left and right click at the same time) to move a block and detach all of its connected inputs and outputs.  
# Drag and drop a block with exactly one input and one output onto a signal line to insert it into that signal.  This auto connects the inputs and output ports.  
# Use the keyboard's directional buttons to move a block in small increments. 
# Move a block's input/output port close to an unconnected line to make it auto-connect to that block.
# Right-click on a signal line to make a branch off of that signal.
# To auto draw a signal line between two blocks, click the source block, hold Ctrl, click on the destination block. (Note: this will also try to connect all of the output ports on the source block)
# Use the Esc key to move upward in your current subsystem hierarchy.
