Description
Overview
This MotoHawk™ block recovers the latest observed status of the named Reaction Module. Some status events are transient. The Reaction Module will latch a transient status so that it can be reported later. However that status is then cleared so that it may be captured again. Therefore there should not be more than one of these blocks in a design.
Signals
Status
The status is described by an enumeration of possible status events.
- 0 = OK
- 1 = Module Failed to Create
- 2 = Had ADC Overrun since status was last queried
Module Failed to Create
A software issue has prevented the Reaction Module from creating. The Reaction Module and any associated Reaction Channel behaviors won't operate and the module will be disabled.
Had ADC Overrun since status was last queried
This error would only be expected if the software has not setup the ADC correctly. It implies that the reaction module was sent an ADC sample before it had finished with the last sample, thus experiencing an overrun condition. The sample is ignored in this case so such an event is not catastrophic to the operation to the Reaction Module.
